Drivers escape uninjured when tree falls on vehicles

Mangalore, June 13, 2012 : The drivers of a rickshaw and a car escaped miraculously when an old tree fell on their vehicles near Kadri Park on June 12, Tuesday.

Joachim was driving the WagonR and Dayanand was driving the auto rickshaw. Although both vehicles are badly damaged, Joachim and Dayanand escaped uninjured.

The two drivers had slowed down their vehicles as the traffic was heavy in front of them when the tree collapsed without any warning.

The Kadri police and the fire fighting service arrived to clear the debris and restore order. The incident caused a traffic block for a long time.
