Dr Mohan Alva conferred Idinabba Memorial Award

Mangaluru, Mar 06, 2021: Alva’s Education Foundation Chairman Dr Mohan Alva was conferred the B M Idinabba Memorial Honorary Award during the birth centenary celebrations of the late MLA and poet B M Idinabba at a function held at Town Hall on Friday under the aegis of the Beary Sahitya Academy.

Veteran film maker and Chairman of Kannada Development Authority T S Nagabharana who conferred the Award on Dr Alva said there was a need to educate the younger generation on the life and achievements of B M Idinabba.

Dr Mohan Alva who also spoke on the occasion said a souvenir comprising articles relating to Idinabba would be brought out within a month.

Beary Academy President Rahim Uchil, Registrar Poornima, Ullal Sayyed Madani Darga President Haji Abdurrasheed Ullal, former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat Harikrishna Punaroor and others were present.
