Deputy Commissioners transferred: Darshan HV is new DC of DK, Swaroopa T K is Udupi DC

Mangaluru, June 18, 2025: The State Government has issued an order transferring Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan and Udupi Deputy Commissioner Vidya Kumari.

Darshan HV, an IAS officer of the 2016 batch has been appointed the new DC of Dakshina Kannada district. He was earlier serving as Additional Commissioner for Commercial Taxes (service analysis wing) in Bengaluru.

Swaroopa T K, IAS officer of 2012 batch has been appointed the new DC of Udupi district. She was serving as Director, e-governance in the Rural Development and Panchayatraj Department, Bengaluru.

Outgoing Dakshina Kannada DC Mullai Muhilan has been posted as Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps in Bengaluru. Outgoing Udupi DC Vidyakumar K has been transferred to Bengaluru. Her posting is yet to be known.
