Mangalore, Dec 14: Deepak Krishnan, the general manager of Southern Railways of India, visited Mangalore’s Central Railway Station today.
Besides inspecting all the development work at the Central Railway Station, he also reviewed the blueprints of the railway station. The Nagarika Hitharakshana Vedike and the Railway Travelers’ Association took the opportunity of submitting a memorandum, requesting the extension of the railway to Karwar.
Deepak Krishnan spoke to media persons and said that the Mangalore Central Railway Station will soon be transformed into an international railway station. He said that all development work will be completed as per the requirements of the people of Mangalore.
