Mangaluru, May 31, 2024: Thieves who broke into a house at Modijera near Konaje have decamped with cash and valuables from the house.

The house belonged to Chandra. Only he and his sister resided in the house. Both were away for work when the theft took place during broad daylight.

The thieves had entered the house by breaking open the front door and then breaking open the cupboard. The theft came to light when the family members returned in the evening.
