Mangalore, September 25: “Home Needs,” a consumers’ expo, was inaugurated by Ranganath Kini, the chief of the Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) council, on September 24, Friday at Milagres Jubilee Hall. He said that the expo is a one-stop shop for a wide range of products. The expo was blessed by Fr. Thomas Roshan D’Souza, the assistant parish priest of Milagres Church.
Vincent D’Costa, the event organizer, said that a wide range of household products, including the Ekvira Air Cooler, which reduces room temperature by 5 – 6 degrees, and Thaivan Aquarium, are available at the expo. Other products such as wall hangings, health fitness equipment, Hercules cycles, leather items, sofa cum bed, khadi shirts, cosmetics, chocolates, gift items, and toys are also available at 50 percent discount. A total of 80 stalls have been put up.
Alwyn Rosario, the vice president of Milagres Church centenary celebrations committee; Raymond D’Cunha; and Neena D’Costa, the event organizer partner, were also present during the inauguration.
