Congress and BJP are equally corrupt – JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy

Sullia, Nov 8, 2012 : Former CM of Karnataka and present JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy said that Congress and the BJP are equally corrupt. Besides raising taxes from 12.5% to 14.5%, former CM B. S. Yeddyurappa has brought suffering on farmers, he added.

Speaking about inaugurating the Samarasya - Swabhimana Convention, which was held by the JD(S) in Sullia, Kumaraswamy said that he will completely eradicate the problem of unemployment if given an opportunity.

He also announced that a mega farmer’s convention will be held at Hubli in December, during which issues related to the cultivation of paddy, sugarcane, pomegranate, and coffee will be discussed.

Among those present were prominent JD(S) leaders, M. C. Naniah, Amaranth Shetty, Nagaraj Shetty, Madhu Bangarappa, Mahendra Kumar, Nandini Gowda, Sadananda Shetty, Ranjith Shetty, and others.
