Mangalore, August 24: Karnataka State Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has greeted the state on the eve of Raksha Bandhan at Mangalore on Tuesday, August 24.

Like millions of people in India Yaddyurappa too celebrated the Rakshabandhan by taking part in a function held at Saghanikethana, Mangalore. Nalin Kumar, Member of Parliament, along with others earlier tied Rakhi on his wrist and exchanged sweets. The students of Roman and Catherine Blind School too have participated in the function.


After interacting with media persons in the city he said raksha Bandhan is a unique feature of India’s cultural ethos, symbolizing the special bonds between brothers and sisters.
