Byndoor progressed during BSY’s chief ministership, claims BY Raghavendra

Kundapur, April 22, 2013: BY Raghavendra, Shimoga MP and son of former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa has claimed that the Byndoor constituency has witnessed good progress owing to the Rs 500 crore grants sanctioned by him.

Raghavendra 1 Speaking to press persons during his visit to the town to take part in Ram Navami celebrations, Raghavendra said though he continues to be a BJP MP he will mentally belongs to the KJP led by his father. He also stated that he would work for the victory of the KJP in the assembly constituencies coming under his parliamentary constituency.

He also claimed that Byndoor has seen good progress after his father became the chief minister of the state. The Kollur railway station project was also sanctioned during the tenure of Yeddyurappa, he said.

Raghavendra also campaigned for the KJP in various places of Byndoor. He was accompanied by several KJP leaders including Naveenchandra Shetty, Ashok Kumar Shetty, the party candidate and others.
