Mangaluru, May 22, 2024: Two vehicles were damaged after the branch of a huge banyan tree fell on the road due to heavy rains and strong winds near court road on Tuesday night. Luckily those inside the car escaped unhurt.

The incident also resulted in disruption of traffic for some time. Even electric cables were damaged due to the incident. MESCOM personnel immediately rushed to the spot and rectified the problem. Later the tree branches were cleared from the road.
