Birthday Celebrations of Rev. Fr. Valerian Pinto at Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar

Mangalore, April 28: Fr. Valerain Pinto, the parish priest of Holy Cross Church, Cordel, Kulshekar, Mangalore and Vicar vara of City Deenary completed 64 years today and stepped into 65 year of his life.

 

 

 

 

At 6.15 a.m. today, Fr. Pinto, celebrated the Thanksgiving mass. Asst.Parish Priests Fr. Arun Lobo and Fr. J. B. Moras along with Fr. Vincent Saldanha (Former Asst. Parish Priest) joined Fr. Pinto in the holy Eucharist.

Later, at the Felicitation Programme, Sri Praveen Patrao, Vice-President, Holy Cross Church, lauded Fr. Pinto for the various spiritual and other projects that he had succesfully completed in the short span of 3 years in cordel and wished him a Happy Birthday on behalf of the Parishioners.

 

 

Among the Asst. parish Priests, Fr. Arun Lobo spoke about the spiritual life of Fr. Pinto. Fr. Lobo said with an experience of 37 years of Pastoral life Fr. Pinto has tremendous knowledge in Bible and thus his sermons are very popular. Fr. Lobo wished Fr. Pinto all the best in hisfuture days.

Fr. Pinto in his reply, thanked all Parishioners and well-wishers. He said it is because of the support and contribution of the generous parishioners he was able to complete several projects in a short span.

He said Gods ways are different and for every problem, God has a solution. It is prayers that will always help us at every point of crisis in our Life.

On behalf of the Parishoners, Sri Praveen Patrao - Vice-President, Sri George D’Souza - Secretary, Sri Victor Vas - former Vice President and Sri Sushil Noronha - Former Vice President and Centenary Jubilee Committee Convenor presented a garland of 64 roses to Fr. Pinto.

Fr. J. B. Moras, Asst Parish Priest, compared the programme. The church Choir sang the Birthday song.

Later all office bearers of associations and parishioners wished Fr.Pinto.
