Bike lands in drain in overtaking attempt ; 2 riders injured

Mangaluru, May 08, 2015:  Two young bike riders sustained serious injuries after their bike skidded and fell into a roadside drain   on May 7, Thursday evening. The injured youth are said to be employees of Big Bazaar.

bike accidntThe accident occurred on the main road leading to Bejai from KSRTC bus stand. It has been gathered that the two bike riders tried to overtake a car  moving at slow speed when their bike skidded and rolled into the nearby drain. It is learnt while falling off the bike they crashed against the nearby electricity pole and an embankment resulting in injuries.

Both have been admitted to a private hospital.
