Belthangady, Mar 19, 2026: A PUC student drowned in the Netravati River after going for a swim on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at Arasamajalu near Mundaje village, where the student reportedly entered the river for swimming and drowned. The deceased has been identified as Nishanth (16).
Further details regarding the incident are yet to be ascertained.
