Bantwal, Dec 4, 2013: Bantwal police on Tuesday, December 3 have seized four Lorries at BC Road for illegally transporting sand from Netravati River to Bangalore.


illegal 1The team of police led by town SI Kabbalraj spotted four lorries while on inspection duty and seized them.

Few days ago, the team had conducted similar inspection on BC Road-Uppinangady national highway and had seized more than fifteen lorries illegally transporting sand.


It is said that some unseen hands are work to transfer the SI and some policemen, who are working in this operation.
