Mangalore, Oct 9, 2013: The body of Yakshith (14) who was one among the four boys who met a watery grave while having a bath in the river at Bangra Kulur on October 6, was traced on October 8, Tuesday morning. The body was found at the riverside near Bengre.
It was later taken to Wenlock Hospital for post-mortem. As already reported, of the eight boys who entered the river, five had drowned. The bodies of Kalander (16), Rajesh (17), Rakshith (14) and Prajwal (17) have already been traced. The boys, it is learnt, had decided to have a bath after practicing Tiger dance at the river side. Three of the boys namely Marimuthu, Prajwal and Aravind however swam ashore to safety.
Sources also said the families of the boys were unaware that the children had gone to the riverside.
