BJP will take to streets if Congress government fails to implement guarantees: Nalin

Mangaluru, June 01, 2023: State BJP President and Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has said that the BJP will take to the streets if the Congress government fails to implement its five guarantees without any condition.

 

Speaking to reporters here on June 1, Thursday, he said the Congress government is now speaking regarding guidelines for the implementation of the guarantees. However there was no such mention prior to the elections, he said.

He said the Congress government which had promised to implement the guarantees soon after taking charge have not taken steps even 20 days after taking charge. The Congress has cheated the people and has come to power by lying to the people, he alleged and dubbed the Congress as a party of liars. The Congress has left the people in confusion, he said.

The BJP, he said was a pro-people party and added that the BJP will not remain silent if the assurances are not fulfilled by the Congress government.

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, District BJP President Sudarshan Moodbidri, Ravishanker Mijar, Sudhir Shetty, Monappa Bhandari and others were present.
