MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that Jinnah is making attempts to annex Kashmir and is almost succeeding. Since national leaders such as Shyam Prakash Mukerjee fought hard for the country’s independence, Pakistan is still part of India, he said. Criticizing the Congress for its advocacy of secularism, he said that the policy of secularism followed by the Congress right from Mahatma Gandhi to Rahul Gandhi is responsible for the partition of India. Stating that Kashmir, which was once the “land of Sharada” is now the “land of Bi Fathimas of Pakistan, he declared that this is the result of secularism. He also stated that Hindus have to beg others to fulfill their demands in spite of the fact that it is a Hindu country.

Padmanabha Kottary, the district president of the BJP, presided over the protest and said that cows should be protected because Hindus consider them divine. Stating that the BJP is now waiting for the approval of the governor and the president, he said that the governor’s refusal to pass the bill will be shameful. He also said that the Hindus of India are ready to shed blood to protect cows and Kashmir and declared that it is the duty of all Hindus to protect their sacred places at any cost.

Monappa Bhandary, the former district president of the BJP, stated that the Congress is ready to sell their families for the sake of one vote. Criticizing Deve Gowda’s statements that old cows are useless and should therefore be chopped and eaten, he questioned whether Gowda is willing to chop and eat up his own parents when they grow old. He challenged Gowda to eat his own mother first and then talk about cows if he is so interested in supporting cow slaughter.

District President of BJP Mahila Morcha Pulasya Rai said that the Congress has utterly failed to protect the interests of Hindus and has done nothing but follow a policy of appeasing the minorities. She also said that the number of slaughter houses in India has risen to 35 thousand where lakhs of cattle are slaughtered daily only because of the activities of the Congress. Flaying Sonia Gandhi, the chairperson of the AICC, she said that Sonia can never be loyal to the country because she is neither an Indian nor a Hindu.

State President of BJP Minority Morcha Franklin Monteiro accused the governor and the president of India for acting against the will of the majority of the people in the country.

Mayor Rajani Dugganna, Shrikar Prabhu, BJP Minorities President Franklin Monteiro, Sharathchandra Shetty, Rukmayya Naik, Chandrahas Ullal, Nagraj Shetty, Pulasya Rai, and Dr. Bharath Shetty also participated in the protest.
