Mangalore, April 18, 2013 : Capt Ganesh Karnik, MLC has regretted the fact that the internal conflicts and the drawbacks of the BJP government were more highlighted than its actual achievements.
Speaking to reporters on the party’s preparations of the upcoming Assembly elections, Karnik said the BJP government in Karnataka has the credit of spending the maximum funds towards the education sector in the past 3 years.
He also stated that the BJP government had opened universities for Sanskrit, Music, agriculture and horticulture. While admitting that there were loopholes and that the quality of education in several state run schools like the Morarij Schools and Ashram Schools were not satisfactory, he said the problem lay in the fact that such schools were under the control of other departments rather than the Education Department.
