Mangalore, April 9: Geetha Rego, the administrative officer of the Bearys Public School, has lodged a complaint at the Urwa Police Station that the wall of the school is in danger of collapsing after Ganesh Bangera demolished the adjacent wall.

Addressing reporters, Ms. Rego said that Bangera constructed an apartment adjacent to the school in 2008.

Two days ago, he had demolished the land attach to the school, dug up the roads and the steps leading to its ground, built the wall, and closed the way, owing to which the school is now in danger of collapsing, she alleged.

Bearys Public School has around 500 children between the ages of 2 and 16, and the parents and teachers are worried about them. He responded rudely when the parents and teachers tried speaking to him about it. Although the school authorities lodged a complaint at the local police station, the police have not taken any action, she alleged.
