After woman falls into trench, MCC lodges complaint against pvt telecom company

Mangaluru, Dec 22, 2022: The Executive Engineer of the Mangaluru City Corporation has lodged a complaint with the police against a telecom company in connection with the recent incident wherein an elderly woman had fallen into a wide open seven feet deep trench near the Ambedkar circle on December 19. The woman who suffered injuries during the fall was rescued by locals.
The complaint has stated that the trench had been dug up without seeking permission from the MCC and without any precautionary measures. In this backdrop criminal case has to be registered against the telecom company, the complaint has stated.
