Shocking video: Drunk woman hitting, abusing Uber cab driver in Miami

Jan 23, 2016: The video showing a woman abusing and hitting an Uber cab driver has gone viral on social media with over 1.6 million views since it was posted on January 19. 

The woman, who is said to be drunk at the time of incident, has been identified as Anjali Ramkissoon and is reported to be a resident at Jackson Health System.

Ramkissoon, a fourth-year medical student, has been suspended following the emergence of the video.

The video shows, Ramkissoon hurling abuses and hitting the driver. At one of time she is also seen occupying the driving seat of the cab and throwing things out of it while the driver tried to call the police.

The video was recorded on a mobile phone and posted by an eyewitness. At the end of the 5-minute video, the woman is seen walking away will police still to arrive at the spot. The driver is seen following the woman.

Media reports tell that the driver opted not to press charges against her and both the parties agreed to settle the issue mutually.
