Thumbay Institute of Aesthetics unveils expansion at 2026 international conference

UAE, Nov 3, 2026: Thumbay Institute of Aesthetics (TIA), operating under Thumbay University Hospital, has announced a major expansion of its services at its annual International Conference & Awards 2026, held at Thumbay Medicity in Ajman.

The conference, themed ’Shaping the Future of Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery’, was attended by Chief Guest Her Excellency Aisha Ibrahim Al Marri, Member of the Federal National Council. During the event, she inaugurated two new offerings at the institute — next-generation laser and advanced aesthetic technologies, and the TIA Luxury Skin Collection, its exclusive skincare range.

The scientific programme, accredited for 7.5 Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours, brought together plastic surgeons, dermatologists and aesthetic specialists from the UAE and other countries. The sessions covered various topics, including facial ageing, facial anatomy, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin, J-Plasma, peptides and advanced laser treatments.

The conference concluded with the presentation of awards to 21 professionals in recognition of their contributions to aesthetics and plastic surgery.

Since its launch in late 2024, TIA has treated more than 75,000 clients. As part of its expansion, the institute has extended its services to Thumbay Hospital Fujairah, opened the TIA Wellness & Beauty Store and launched Blends & Brews Nourish, a wellness café.

In collaboration with Gulf Medical University, TIA also offers more than 20 certification programmes for professionals in the aesthetics field.

The institute has outlined further expansion plans, including the launch of a Longevity Clinic offering regenerative medicine and intravenous (IV) therapies, a Hair Restoration Clinic and a flagship institute at the upcoming Thumbay Medicity Dubai.
