February 05, 2022: The beauty of nature is that it never fails to surprise, isn’t it? Well, this video is the perfect example of that. A delightful clip of a bird skillfully building a nest out of leaf stems has gone viral online. The clip was posted on Twitter by IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra on Friday and has already been viewed over 60k times.

 

In the now-viral video, the beautiful blue-green bird belonging to the Columbidae family can be seen making its nest. It used its beak to tear off the stems of the leaves with remarkable precision. The bird then stuffed them in its tail. Netizens were simply amazed by its skills and we are sure that you will be too.

Dipanshu Kabra said that this bird can be counted amongst the most skilled architects of nature in the caption of the post.

The Columbidae bird family consists of pigeons and doves. They are small, plump birds having short necks and slender beaks. They feed on seeds, fruits and plants.
