Youth accused of instigating suicide of young woman, hangs self

Mangaluru, May 11, 2023: A youth who was facing charges of instigating the alleged suicide of a young model named Preksha at Ashraya colony at Kumpala two years ago, has ended his life by hanging himself on the night of May 10, Wednesday.

 

The deceased is Yathiraj Gatti (20), of Kuttar Mundoli. He has ended his life by hanging himself to the iron hook in the sit-out of his aunt’s house. It is learnt he had come to his aunt’s house at around 11 pm on Wednesday. When his aunt was away he had ended his life.

On May 11, his uncle began searching for him and found him hanging.  Ullal Police are investigating the case.
