Young bike rider killed in road mishap at Ekkur

Mangalore, Jan 29, 2014: A young bike rider hailing from Pilar lost his life in a
road mishap at Ekkur near here on January 28, Tuesday.
The deceased is Mohammad Iqbal (19), son of PC Imtiyaz. The accident took place when Mohammad was on way to Mangalore from Thokkottu in his bike.
A lorry which was coming from the opposite direction rammed against his two-wheeler resulting in serious head injuries to Mohammad. It is learnt, he was declared brought dead in the hospital.
A case has been registered.
