Woman who complained against Gerosa school teacher faces threat; loses job

Mangaluru, Feb 20, 2024: A woman who had spoken to the media with regard to the St Gerosa school row and had accused a teacher of hurting religious sentiments, has now lodged a complaint at Kankanady police station alleging that she was receiving threatening calls. The woman has said she was also receiving some threat calls from abroad.

 

The woman named Kavitha who has a daughter studying in seventh standard in the school, had even been to the DDPI office with a delegation of Hindu outfit members seeking action against the teacher.

Meanwhile it has been gathered that the private school at Thokkottu where the woman works as a teacher has removed her from the job.
