Welfare Party of India to launch Udupi unit on March 24

Udupi, Mar 21, 2013: The Udupi  unit of the Welfare Party of India (WPI) will be launched at a function to be held at Town Hall here on March 24.

Speaking to reporters here, office bearers of the party, said the Welfare Party of India is considered as an alternative political platform for the marginalized sections. They said the party represents the lay man and will have non-communal and non-corrupt people as its members.  They said the party wants to build a society based on the principle of universal brotherhood.

 

 

Several Welfare Party of India leaders including Dr BT Lalitha Nayak, National Vice President, State President Akbar Ali, General Secretary Mohammed Ibrahim,  State President of the minority wing of the Party Laiju Sebastian and  Kasargod District Vice President Ravindra Brahmeshwar  will participate in the inaugural.
