VHP plans Rama Yajnas across nation

Mangalore, Mar22, 2013  :   T.A.P. Shenoy, Pranth Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad has said that every Hindu family should recite Vijay Maha mantra ‘Sri Ram Jaya Ram Jaya Jaya Ram’ everyday starting from ‘Ugadi’ (April 11, 2013) to ‘Akshaya Trithiya’ (May 13), in order to help realize the objective of constructing Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. ‘Rama Yajnas’ will also  be held in various parts of the country for this purpose, he said.

Speaking to reporters here on March 21, Thursday, Shenoy said Parliament should pass a resolution to construct Ram Mandir at Ayodhya and added the VHP would be creating nationwide awareness in this regard through Ram Yajnas.

He said  a convention held during the Kumbh Mela in February, participated by religious leaders from across the country had passed four major resolutions  urging to clear all obstacles in the construction of Ram Mandir, steps to purify River Ganga, to stop cattle slaughter, encourage cattle rearing and to put an end to atrocities on women.  

 VHP leaders  Krishnamurthi, Sudhamshu Patnayak, Sharan Pumpwell, Bhajrangdal leader were also present.
