Mangaluru, April 01, 2020: Amid widespread Corona fears, a 15 year old girl from Ullal Uliya has succumbed to Dengue fever at the Fr Muller Hospital on April 1, Tuesday.
The deceased girl is Stenita D’Souza, daughter of Titus D’Souza, physical education teacher of a government school at Kinya. Stenita who was an SSLC student at St Sebastian’s English Medium School, Thokkottu was admitted to the hospital on March 16. She was shifted to Fr Muller Hospital after her condition saw no improvement at a private hospital at Thokkottu. The girl had remained in ventilator for eight days and breathed her last today.
Her mother who was working abroad had returned hometown on February 20.
