Udupi, July 13, 2023: The state government has issued an order transferring Udupi Deputy Commissioner Kurma Rao M. The government has appointed Vidyakumari K as the new Deputy Commissioner of the district.

Dr Vidyakumari who hails from Pavoor village in Ullal, is an IAS officer of the 2014 batch. She has earlier served as Additional DC of Udupi for two years.
