Lokayukta raids RTO officer Lakshminarayana P. Naik residence in Udupi

Udupi, Oct 14, 2025: Lokayukta officials carried out a raid on the residence of Udupi Regional Transport Office (RTO) officer Lakshminarayana P. Naik on Tuesday morning.
According to sources, the raid was conducted following complaints from the public regarding alleged disproportionate assets. Searches were held at his flat in Kinnimulki, Udupi, as well as at the residences of his relatives in Padualevuru village in Udupi taluk and Kumta in Uttara Kannada district.
Officials examined various documents during the operation and seized records for further verification.
Lakshminarayana P. Naik hails from Kumta in Uttara Kannada district and is currently serving as the RTO officer in Udupi.
