Mangaluru, Mar 6, 2026: The International Clinical Neuroimmunology Workshop (ICNW 2026) will be held on March 7 and 8 at Avishkar Hall, KS Hegde Hospital, ABSMIDS, Mangaluru.
The two-day academic workshop is being organised by the Centre for Advanced Neurological Research, Nitte (Deemed to be University) and will bring together leading neurologists, researchers and clinicians from India and several other countries.
The workshop aims to enhance the diagnostic capabilities of practising neurologists through practical exposure to advanced visual diagnostic tools, imaging techniques and biomarker analysis used in neuroimmunological disorders. The programme focuses on translating emerging scientific knowledge into practical clinical applications to improve patient care.
A key highlight of ICNW 2026 is its hands-on and demonstration-based learning format. The workshop will feature live Optical Coherence Tomography sessions, video-assisted demonstrations and interactive discussions with experts from Canada, the United States, South Asia and the UAE. These sessions are designed to provide participants with practical skills and real-world insights into the diagnosis and management of neuroimmunological disorders.
The workshop is being conducted under the leadership of Dr. Lekha Pandit, Professor of Neurology and Director of the Centre for Advanced Neurological Research at KS Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte (Deemed to be University), who is serving as the course director for ICNW 2026.
The event will be inaugurated by Dr. Asha Kishore, Director of the Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Centre at Aster Medicity, Kochi, who will attend as the chief guest. The inaugural function will be presided over by Prof. (Dr.) M. S. Moodithaya, Vice-Chancellor of Nitte (Deemed to be University).
Other dignitaries expected to be present include Dr. Harsha Halahalli, Registrar of Nitte (Deemed to be University), and Dr. Sandeep Rai, Dean of KS Hegde Medical Academy.
