car theft casesMangaluru, August 8, 2021: A gang of dacoits from Uttar Pradesh which is said to be active in the  city is suspected to be behind the cases of thefts from parked cars by breaking their window glasses. Police are on the lookout for the accused.

Already thefts from parked cars have been reported in Bunder and Urwastore areas. In the latest incident reported on Friday near the MUDA office, thieves  have stolen laptop, iPhone and bank cheque leaves from a parked car. In Balmatta a cash of Rs 40,000 has been stolen from a car. At least four such incidents have been reported.
