Thieves break open second-hand car showroom; escape with 2 cars

Mangaluru, July 13, 2023: Thieves who entered a second-hand car showroom near the Hosabettu Junction in Suratkal police station limits late night on July 12, Wednesday have stolen two cars as well as other valuables including laptops. The theft has been caught on CCTV camera. The showroom belonged to Abid Ahmed of Sooralpady.

 

The thieves had broken open the front glass of the showroom using hammer and had then searched the drawers. They laid their hands on two car keys along with the documents and escaped with the cars.

The stolen cars include a red colour Swift Car worth Rs 6 lakhs and a Creta Car worth Rs 9 lakhs.
