Mangaluru, Sept 6, 2025: Expert PU College, Kodialbail, celebrated Teachers’ Day 2025 with a vibrant programme honouring the invaluable role of educators in shaping young minds. The event brought together students, faculty, and dignitaries in a spirit of gratitude and respect.
Dr. M. B. Puranik, President of Tulunadu Education Trust and Sharada Group of Institutions, was honoured as Teacher Exemplary in recognition of his lifelong service to education. In his address, he said, “A successful teacher is one that loves their profession and is committed towards it. A teacher never just teaches the subject—they teach values and shape the character of the student.”
The programme began with a lamp-lighting ceremony and floral tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, followed by a soulful rendering of Guru Vandana. Chairman Prof. Narendra L. Adding colour to the event, faculty members staged cultural performances, including Kannada songs Yenagali Munde Saagali and Lokada Kaalaji, along with dance presentations that drew enthusiastic applause from students.
