Mangaluru, May 30, 2025: Sudheer Kumar Reddy officially assumed charge as the Deputy Inspector General and the new Commissioner of Police for Mangaluru City on Friday, May 30.
His predecessor, Anupam Agrawal, has been transferred and appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Economic Offences.
Earlier the same day, Dr Arun K, IPS, took over as the Superintendent of Police (SP) for Dakshina Kannada district, following directives from the state government and police headquarters.
These appointments are part of a major reshuffle of IPS officers, announced by the state government on Thursday, impacting key leadership positions in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.
