Mangalore, Aug 21, 2013: An ‘Industry Academia Seminar Series’ was organised by the SDM College of Business Management, Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research in association with BASF at the conference hall of the institution on August 21, Wednesday.
Prasad Chandran, Chairman, BASF Companies in India and Head, South Asia, inaugurated the programme. The seminar series on corporate governance and business ethics under the aegis of Million Minds Project is held at leading institutes across India.
In his address, Prasad exhorted youngsters to build a strong sense of value and ethics. A good character goes a long way in shaping one’s personality, he said and urged youngsters to never compromise on values. It is only a value based life that will make life meaningful, he said and urged youngsters who sit glued to computers and internet not to be slaves of modern technology.
Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, presided over the function. Dr Heggade and Prasad Chandran were honoured on the occasion.
