State Bank of India opens its Commercial branch at Kalakunj Road, Mangalore

Mangalore, Dec 8, 2011: State Bank of India’s, Commercial Branch inaugurated by Mr. Ashwini Mehra, Chief General Manajer, SBI, Bangalore, today at 10.30 AM  in Katyayini Mahammaya Complex, Kalakunj Road, Mangalore .
 

 

 

Mr. Ashwini Mehra felicitated prominent customers of the bank on this occasion. Some of the prominent customers who were felicitated include, Navadurga Cashew Industries, Uma Tile company, Yenoppoya Group, Campco.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Sudhir P. Ghate, Chairman, Magnum Intergrfiks spoke on the occasion. “A bank is the backbone of any business” said Mr. Ghate while appreciating the service and support of State bank of India in his business. “We should be proud that a good number of Mangaloreans are leaders in banking industry in the world” he reminded the eminent businessmen and bankers present on the occasion.

In his inaugural address, Sri. Ashwini Mehra  said that there are a large number nationalized and private sector banks have branches in Mangalore city. The competition is tough and challenging. However, State Bank of India has its own prominence among them in variety banking services. SBI, is the leader in the country in every respect. SBI has a major share of banking business in the city also.

I believe that it is the duty of the bank to support every business and provide appropriate and sufficient funds and services so as to make the business prosper and flourish. The bank should be there with the customer in all the ups and downs of business through out.

We may have the highest credibility in market, but can not take it for granded. We must work hard for bettering our services and support to the customers, he reminded his colleagues.

The inaugural function was well attended by eminent businessmen and industrialists of Dakshina Kannada. P R Acharya, AGM welcomed the gathering. Mukesh Kumar, Regional Manager proposed vote of thanks.
