Mangalore, Feb 3, 2012 : St. Aloysius College, which hosted a science exhibition and several commerce, life science, and physical science events on its campus on Thursday, wore a festive look.
The science students of the college had displayed a number of models to explain various scientific concepts and processes. Thirty-seven of these models were from St. Aloysius College while the other models were from Canara First Grade College, Besant College, St. Agnes College, and Poorna Prajna College.

The exhibition included a model that illustrated how water level can be gauged with the help of a specific integrated circuit (IC), a model that explained how a light-dependent resistor could be used to set off an alarm, a model indicating how anti-venom works in the body in case of a snake bite, a model to explain how human voice can be transformed into electrical signals and sound waves in a studio, and many others.
The Commerce Association of the college also organized Acme 2012 on the same day.
