Mangaluru, Jul 26, 2021: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath has said that a Rs 25 lakh grant will be provided for the development of the War Memorial at Kadri.

He was speaking after offering tributes to the Kargil heroes  at the War Memorial at Kadri on July 26, Monday on the occasion of the 22nd Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Kamath said as part of the developmental works, roofing, lighting arrangement, sound system will be provided and fountains will be built in the area.

Ex-servicemen Brigadier I N Rai, Col. N Sharath Bhandari, Col. Jayachandran, Corporator Shakeela Kava,  Rotarian J P Rai and others were present.
