Raheja Waterfront gets Star Studded Launch

Mangalore, Mar 28: Bhoomi Pooja of ’Raheja Waterfront’, a residential complex, performed in the presents of numerous ministers and film actors and many distinguished personalities on March 28, Monday.


Raheja Waterfront, which is located along NH17 near Chitrapura Beach in Kulai, between Mangalore and Suratkal, is a project promoted by Raheja Universal Ltd. (RUL) in collaboration with Asha Builders and Developers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shri Vidyavallabha Teertha Shripada of Chitrapura Mutt blessed the occasion and said in his benedictory address that money should be used for a good purpose to generate jobs for as many people as possible because the world is facing financial crisis. He also spoke of the importance of God’s blessings to reach great heights. He also urged the partners to provide a beautiful landmark for Mangalore.


State Higher Education Minister Dr. V. S. Acharya was the chief guest of the event. Stating that Mangalore is the second fastest-growing city in Karnataka after Bangalore, he said that the city, which once had only agricultural land, is now the home of beautiful buildings and landmarks. He urged the builders to develop these 46 acres of land beautifully and make it a tourist hotspot. Referring to the CRZ Act, he said that Suresh Kumar has discussed the issue of transforming the CRZ 3 plan to CRZ 2 plan in assembly.

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Prakash Shetty, the managing partner of Asha Builders and Developers, delivered the welcome address. Later Ashish Raheja and Rahul Raheja, the managing directors of Raheja Universal Ltd., along with brand ambassador and Bollywood star Sunil Shetty, honored the chief guests with shawl, garland, and memento.


The dignitaries on the dais were V. Somanna, the minister for housing; Murugesh R. Nirani, the minister for large and medium scale industries; Krishna J. Palemar, the district-in-charge minister; MP Nalin Kumar Kateel; N. Cheluvaraya Swami, the MP of Mandya; Mayor Praveen; Deputy Speaker N. Yogesh Bhat; Moodubidri MLA Abhaya Chandra Jain; MLA U. T. Khader; Basavaraj Horatti, the MLC of Hubli; B. Madhava Bhandary, the chairman of MUDA; and Dr. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat.

 

In the limelight were Sandalwood stars such as Crazy Star Ravichandran, Darshan, Yash, Sudeep, Rockline Venkatesh, Ramesh Aravind, Murali, Pooja Gandhi, Bhavana, and Ragini.

 

The highlight of the event was a flute performance by renowned flutist Praveen Godkindi.
