Property tax can be paid at post offices, Mangalore One centres

Mangaluru, April 22, 2022: Mangaluru City Corporation Commissioner Akshy Sridhar  has  said that citizens can pay their property tax at post offices and Mangalore One service centres from April 25 onwards.

 

It may be recalled here that the MCC had introduced an online system of payment of Self-Assessment Property Tax. However, the several technical glitches in the same had made it difficult for many citizens to pay their tax.

Though the MCC was earlier hesitant to also offer offline mode of payment, it has finally yielded to the demand to facilitate offline payment of property tax along with online payment.
