Farangipete: Auto driver dies after hit by a bus while crossing the road

Farangipete, Jun 6, 2025: In a tragic accident that occurred at Hattane Milekallu on Friday, an auto-rickshaw driver lost his life after being hit by a bus.
The deceased has been identified as Zahid (28), a resident of Amemar who was currently living in a flat at Hattane Milekallu.
The accident occurred when Zahid was helping children who were afraid to cross the road. As he was returning after assisting them, a KSRTC bus coming from Mangaluru hit him, killing him on the spot.
Zahid had lost his father earlier and is survived by his mother, three brothers, and two sisters.
