Kasargod: 2 year old child dies after car overturns at Mulleria

Kasargod, June 6, 2025: A two year old child died after the car in which she was travelling along with her parents overturned at Mulleria near Adoor on Thursday evening.
The mishap occurred when Haridas and Srividya couple from Bellige were returning home after visiting the town. The car was traversing a steep road and had to pass through a drain right on the middle of the road when its tyres got stuck. Srividya got out of the car along with her child Hridyananda. Another child was inside the car. Just as the car was being pushed, it started all of a sudden and the child accidentally got caught under the car. The child was immediately rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
A case has been registered in Adoor police station.
