Promotional Officer of District Industries Centre in Lokayukta net

 Mangalore, Aug 13, 2013 : Lokayukta sleuths led by DySP Vittaldas Pai  have trapped red handed a promotional officer at the District Industries Centre at Yeyyadi while he was  accepting bribe from an applicant to sanction subsidies of the government.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A person from Kalladka named Jagadish had earlier approached the officer  Vaman Naik for the subsidy  when the latter  reportedly demanded Rs 7000 but later agreed for Rs 4000.

Jagadish who had recorded the conversation had produced it  before the Lokayukta and the officer was subsequently trapped while accepting the bribe amount.
