PFA India Section to hold silver jubilee convocation on Dec 17

Mangalore, Dec 15, 201 : The silver jubilee convocation and awards ceremony of Pierre Fauchard Academy (India Section) is scheduled to be held at Hotel Ocean Pearl on Dec 17 Saturday.

Dr. U. S. Krishna Nayak informed reporters today that 43 new fellows will be inducted into the academy. The chief guest will be Prof. Dibyendu Mazumder, the president of the Dental Council of India, and N. V. Hegde, the chancellor of NITTE University, will be the guest of honor.

The toppers of various universities at the BDS undergraduate level will be rewarded on the occasion.

A continuing dental education program will be held at AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences in Deralakatte and Mangalore from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Dec 17 Saturday.

A supplementary convocation was held at Kathmandu in Nepal on Nov 15 – 16 this year as part of the silver jubilee and 14 Nepali fellows were inducted into the India Section of the PFA.
