Nearly 1500 chickens die as poultry farm shed collapses

Bantwal, July 20, 2024: Nearly 1500 chickens died after the roofing of the shed of a poultry farm collapsed all of a sudden due to heavy rains and strong winds at Sekehitlu in Kula village of Bantwal taluk.


Chicken farm


The poultry farm belonged to Raghava. He was rearing nearly 2,200 chickens,. Out of these 700 which were grown up were sold recently and the rest died due to the collapse of the roofing of the shed which completely destroyed the shed.
