Mangalore, Mar 22, 2013 : In a sudden political development, State JD(S) Vice President Nagaraj Shetty, State Secretary of the Party MG Hegde and over 10 others have tendered their resignations to the party.
The development comes in the wake of the recent action of State Party President HD Kumaraswamy suspending the party’s district minorities cell Chief DM Aslam and District General Secretary Shashiraj Shetty for speaking against him.
It may be recalled here that both Nagaraj Shetty and MG Hegde had recently condemned the suspension and had urged the party leadership to revoke the same.
