NGO Praja Yatna’s educational report released

Mangalore, Apr 18, 2012: Dr. K. N. Vijayaprakash, the CEO of ZP, released Praja Yatna’s Educational Praja Report on April 18 Wednesday in the Taluk Panchayath Auditorium.

Praja Yatna is an NGO that focuses on education.

In his address, he said that the district will implement Right to Education Act within one year, becoming the first district in Karnataka to introduce RTE Act.

K. T. Shailaja Bhat, the president of the ZP, presided.

Eshwar Kateel, the president of the Health and Education Standing Committee of the Zilla Panchayath, inaugurated the event.

Moses Jayashekar, the deputy director of the department of public instruction; Mahadev Kote of Praja Yatna; Shivaprakash, the deputy project coordinator; Dr. N. Chandregowda, the D.Ed. University lecturer; and many others were also present.
