Mulki: Car-scooter collision; rider dies, pillion injured

Mulki, Nov 3, 2025: A two-wheeler rider who was critically injured after being hit by a car has succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The accident occurred in front of Rohan Estate near Kinnigoli–S. Kodi. The deceased has been identified as Surendra, a resident near Moger Daivasthana in Punoor, Mulki. He was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries but passed away on Sunday evening. The pillion rider, identified as Sandeep alias Lolaksha, sustained minor injuries.
The incident took place when the victims were heading towards Haleangady from S. Kodi on their two-wheeler, and a speeding, rashly driven car coming from the opposite direction collided with them.
